When working in highly contaminated environments or when high chemical resistance is required, Dräger offers the innovative approach of combining a helmet or bump cap with an additional hood. The hood offers protection against contamination. This saves time and money, because contaminated hoods can simply be replaced.
You can combine the hood with either a helmet or a bump cap (both without visor). This keeps the high value head protection from becoming
contaminated. Thanks to the Tychem® material used for the hood, this combination also provides a high level of chemical resistance, which is even higher if Tychem® 4000 with taped seams is used.
